Tuition and Billing Policies

Northside School of Music operates on a sliding scale for tuition and instrument rentals, making it easier for all families to access music education. Payments are due at the beginning of each month, and you can find the detailed breakdown below:

Attendance Agreement

Attendance Agreement

By registering for lessons, classes, or ensembles, you agree to attend all scheduled sessions. If you are unable to attend, please notify us in advance via the Community Portal, phone, text, or email. Failure to attend more than three classes in a semester without notice may result in losing your spot.

Lessons

No make-up lessons will be offered. If an instructor cancels a lesson, a credit will be issued if a substitute is unavailable.

Classes & Ensembles

No make-up classes or rehearsals will be offered. Cancellations due to instructor illness or inclement weather will be handled accordingly (see Weather Policy below).

Discontinuing Enrollment

To drop lessons or classes, please email Notes@northsidemusic.org. Verbal notice to a teacher is not acceptable. Lessons paid for after a drop date will not be refunded.

Online Programming Policies

Northside School of Music utilizes Google Meet for online lessons.
We are not responsible for issues related to technology or internet connections. For students under 18, an authorized adult must be present during online lessons.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, Northside School of Music will announce its closure via Social Media, Email, and Text. Lessons or rehearsals canceled due to weather will not be made up or refunded. In some cases, lessons may be moved online.

Photo Policy

Photo Policy

Northside School of Music reserves the right to use photos or videos taken during programming for promotional materials. If you wish to opt-out, please submit a written request to Notes@northsidemusic.org.

Northside Music Terms and Guidelines

By enrolling, you agree to abide by Northside Music’s terms, class rules, and guidelines to ensure a positive and respectful learning environment for all students. We ask that all students, families, and staff maintain a supportive and collaborative atmosphere in all classes and activities.
